Our Stable Yard
There are many different types of stable yards, run under different conditions adhering to their own policy, code of conduct and riding etiquette.
We at Homestead pride ourselves in being a professional fun yard.
We teach according the principles of the Horse safety Australia program as we believe in the interest of our riders, horses and future of the sport it is essential to teach correctly from the first lesson. We abide by and teach the safety rules of riding and riding etiquette.
At Homestead we teach from beginner to competitive riders both adults and children. We strive to turn out superb, confident and effective riders who have a passion for the sport and a passion for the horse.
Teaching Beginners
Apart from being a competitive riding yard, we also specialise in teaching beginner riders .
We hope to instill in our new beginner riders, a passion for horses and riding by providing a holistic, happy and enjoyable riding experience.
There are many ways to teach children and adults to ride however there is only one way to ride correctly to ensure your competence, safety and ability whilst maintaining the comfort and reliability of the horse.

Homestead, our instructors, management and team of staff always put the well being of the rider first. We provide a well run yard, excellent instructors, trained horses, well maintained tack, arena’s and equipment.
